Happy New Year 2008!!!

Time trickles by, never a moment halting,
Tide rises and recedes, ever so constantly,
Acquaintances come and go, leaving behind real friends,
A loving heart keeps one going, in times of good and bad.

Year 2007 has been a roller-coasting one for me and my parents and all those who care for me. With the impending arrival of year 2008, i hope that the coming days and years will get better and better for all in the family and everybody else.

Jovial, April and Wei would like to wish everyone Bliss and Peace in Year 2008. Cheers!!!

Its been a hectic few weeks leading up to Xmas. Actually i was not that sure wats the buzz about, dad and mummy just seems to be busy going to friends' and relatives' house for gatherings, makans etc. Nothing to do with me except that i was the tag-along for them. As usual, i always dun get my fair share of the yummy foods. Well...at the very least i do get some exciting toys from Aunt Christina, Susu and ShenShen, Aunt LuYi. Thanks a lot. :)

In case you all r wondering.....Uncle Edward and Dad were 2 of the PA Mango Trio....lol

2 years and a decade back, dad together with uncle Edward and uncle Alan were squad mates training in the then Police Academy. The three of them were health conscious and being true to the motto of Healthy Lifestyle, decided to saviour some mangoes that they had been eyeing for a long time. The decided to do it the primitive way, which was to pluck it fresh from the fruit trees in the Academy itself. The problem was that the fruit trees belonged to a certain instructor. And...the three of them were caught red-handed there and then. And this is how the mango trio came about.....

9th Dec 07 - The bird day

Today's mummy's bird day, a busy day. Morning we went for june bb's birthday bash at rio vista. In the afternoon we dropped by one of the seafood wholesale centre at Geylang Rd and bought 3 dozens of live canada oysters before proceeding to Bedok Grand Aunt's condo for another gathering with mummy's family. And yes, its my first time seeing so many big live crabs and lobsters swimming. :)


I would like to thank and say nice meeting you all, to all the mummies, daddies and bbs whom i met at the bash today.


Special thanks goes out to aunt ping for helping dad to coordinate today's bird day celebration.


Dad, think your idea of ambushing at the doorstep though sounds crappy but does works....ha

8th Dec 07 - First Studio Photo Shoot

Yesterday evening mummy received a phone call from dad : "hullo, get ready two sets of clothings for yourself and 3 sets for Jovial". Mummy asked "go sentosa arh?". Nope was the reply and dad was not going to let us in more on where are we going. "Tomoro u will know" was his parting shot.

Fast forward to today's afternoon. Dad woke up from a short nap after his night shift and we set off to erhhh......still dunno where we were going.

Arrived at Chinatown @4pm and parked at the carpark beside the Buddha relic Temple. It was a long stroll down the streets of chinatown before we finally reached our destination - a unit along a row of shophouse 'No. 228A'. Mummy and me were wondering si mi lai erh?

We walked up the long flight of stairs and came to a signboard "Yew Kwang Photography". Mummy was exclaiming "never tell me we coming for photoshoot i never comb hair!!!"

In we went and for the next near 2 hours we had fun inside the studio. From the numerous photos, dad and mummy selected 21 to be made into an album. These same photos are also made into a slide show shown at the top of my blog....1st hand and exclusive...you saw it in here first :)

My first buffet outing :)

Mum received a call from dad early tis morning.

Dad: Hullo bad news, Straits Cafe do not have oysters for lunch. I made reservations at aquamarine instead.
Mummy: Okie we'll get ready.


And so, we head off at abt 10.15am. First stop was to hougang mall paediatric clinic to see Dr Zainal for my running nose and cough. Then we zroom down to Marina Mandarin for buffet lunch at Aquamarine. Spent 2hours there cos dad and mummy took their own sweet time to consume their food, while i can only admire..luckily dad did give me try a bit of hagen daaz jackfruit ice cream....yummy.
